Podgorica Bars

Bars in Podgorica work to the working-week rhythm. The cocktail-bar cluster sits along Bulevar Sveti Petar Cetinjski and the side streets off Trg Republike, opening from sunset and running through past midnight; cocktails run four to eight euros, beers two to three. The wine-bar end of the offer is split between a handful of dedicated rooms in the centre and the konoba terraces in Stara Varos that lean into Vranac and Krstac from the Crmnica plain.

Beer-focused taprooms, both for the major Balkan brewers and the smaller Montenegrin craft producers, have grown across the past five years and concentrate on the southern stretch of the Bulevar. Live music is a steady part of the offer, with smaller venues programming Wednesday through Saturday across the academic year. The seasonal river-bank terraces along Park Petrovica and the Morača open from late spring and stay full through the warm evenings until mid-September.
