The quarter is mostly mid-rise apartment blocks and a mix of post-2000 family houses, with regular grid streets and the larger Saint Sava Park as its central green space. The area is bordered to the south by the Moraca-plain vineyards which extend toward Lake Skadar.

Pobrezje's south-westerly position gives easy access to both the central Bulevar (ten minutes by car or bus) and the southern vineyard belt with its tasting rooms (a similar drive south). The quarter is quieter than the central districts and has fewer hotels and short-stay apartments, drawing a more settled resident profile. Several smaller konobas, neighbourhood pharmacies and family-run shops serve the local trade.
