Podgorica Souvenir Shops

Souvenir shops in Podgorica are concentrated around Stara Varos and the centre's pedestrian zone, with a smaller selection inside the central shopping centres. The Stara Varos workshops sell traditional textiles, hand-knitted Montenegrin caps, leather, silver and amber jewellery, copper coffee sets, and Montenegrin-language books and prints. The centre shops carry a fuller range with the printed-and-packaged souvenirs alongside locally-made products and Montenegrin food and drink.

Local food souvenirs centre on Plantaze Vranac wine, Crmnica white wines, Njeguski prsut cured ham vacuum-packed for travel, mountain honey, dried fig and walnut sweetmeats, and olive oil from the southern coast. Prices run from one to two euros for small-print souvenirs through twenty to forty for jewellery and leather items and forty to ninety for the larger artisan textiles. Most shops accept card payment and several offer airport-collection or international shipping for larger items.
