Motorcycle and scooter hire in Podgorica is a smaller market than the Adriatic coast but well covered for visitors heading on day trips out of the city. The operator cluster is concentrated in the centre with one or two desks at the airport. Drivers must hold a category-A or category-A2 licence for the larger machines, with at least two years of experience, and present a credit card at pickup. Popular routes from the city head south to Skadar Lake, north to Ostrog Monastery on the M2, west through Cetinje to Lovcen National Park, or east toward the Komovi mountain range. Booking ahead is essential through the May to October stretch.
